Arctic Monkeys- Humbug
This is the Arctic Monkeys’ brand new CD that got released a few days ago. I’m so glad that they’re able to keep up their good work, unlike a lot of other bands. Though it does sound a bit more like Alex Turner’s side project The Last Shadow Puppets, it’s still worth listening to. In my opinion, I liked their previous albums more than this one, but it’s not half bad if you don’t mind their music being a lot slower and mellow than it was before. Go buy/download!

Black Moth Super Rainbow- Start A People
BMSR has many great albums; however, this one affected me the most. In my opinion, this is one of their greatest albums. It consistently has good beats and melodies. This proves that a band can be great even with just a vocoder and no lead vocalist. The genre of this music is quite hard to distinguish, a mix between psychedelia and electronic. Anyhow, the mix between those two creates a mind-blowing album. It’s a little… out there though, might not be your cup of tea. Definitely worth a listen though.

Similar Sounding Artists: Tobacco, The Octopus Project (when in collaboration with BMSR)
The Broken West- Now Or Heaven
Released in 2008, and being their second album, Now or Heaven is a very upbeat album for the most part, and is great for any time and mood. Great lyrics, great beats, over all very good. Not one of those bands where you have to listen to the whole album all the way through a few times in order to start liking them, but you only have to listen once to get these songs stuck in your head.
Songs recommended by artist: Perfect Games, and Auctioneer.
